Abstract The XRISM Resolve microcalorimeter array measured the velocities of hot intracluster gas at two positions in the Coma galaxy cluster: <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:msup> <mml:mrow> <mml:mn>3</mml:mn> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>′</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:msup> <mml:mo>×</mml:mo> <mml:msup> <mml:mrow> <mml:mn>3</mml:mn> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>′</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:msup> </mml:math> squares at the center and at 6 <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:mi>′</mml:mi> </mml:math> (170 kpc) to the south.
