Population-level rollup of Bionutrient Institute 1–100 nutrient-density readings on UK staple crops. Where instrumental readings are not yet available, the score is derived from Pulse Brain literature meta-analysis as a transparent fallback. Pillar weight: 25% — the heaviest pillar of the six.

Methodology
Per-crop scores are aggregated to a UK-staple basket weighted by national consumption (ONS Living Costs and Food Survey weights). The pillar explicitly cites Bionutrient Institute's 1–100 scale as the underlying per-food rating method. Velocity uses the standard 12-month rolling computation on monthly readings.
Bionutrient Institute attribution
Whenever this pillar's reading uses Bionutrient Meter data, the dashboard tile carries a visible Source: Bionutrient Institute attribution; the API response sets biAttributed:true and emits the source in the X-Source header; the embed widget includes the attribution in its visible footer. Suppressing the attribution requires an explicit admin override and logs to the audit trail with reason — there is no scenario in normal operation where BI data appears without attribution.
