Summary

This chapter explored the proactive impact of Ag-AI in shaping Society 5.0 farming practices. The chapter evaluated Ag-AI's capabilities and its role in advancing agriculture. It is found that Ag-AI leverages AI to enhance precision agriculture, resource optimization, predictive maintenance, and targeted pest and disease management. Ag-AI also enables tailored interventions for specific field areas, conserving resources and protecting the environment. Predictive maintenance reduces equipment downtime, while AI-driven pest management minimizes chemical use. Ag-AI's data-driven approach also improves water and fertilizer use efficiency, optimizing greenhouse energy use.
