What does Pulse Check do?

It grades every factual claim in a report against the Pulse Brain catalogue (19,000+ curated records). For each claim it returns one of four verdicts — Critical (contradicts the strongest available evidence), Investigate (partially supported but conflicts with significant counter-evidence), Supported (aligns with current peer-reviewed evidence) or Evolution (correct historically but superseded by newer evidence) — plus the supporting or contradicting citations and an explanation. Useful for trade-association reports, white papers, journalist fact-checks and consultant deliverables.

What file types can I upload?

PDF, DOCX, plain text, or pasted text up to roughly 80 pages. The tool extracts the prose, identifies claim sentences and runs each one against the catalogue.

How is this different from a search engine or general AI?

Search returns documents; general AI summarises training data without source attribution. Pulse Check evaluates each claim against a curated, citation-linked evidence catalogue and returns a per-claim verdict tied to specific peer-reviewed studies you can verify by DOI.

How much does it cost?

Your first report is free when you sign up with a work email that matches your company website. After that, pay-as-you-go packs: £10 for a single report, £37.50 for 5 reports (£7.50 each) or £49 for 10 reports (£4.90 each). Research Partners get unlimited runs as part of their tailored access.

What is in the Pulse Brain catalogue?

19,000+ peer-reviewed studies and vetted industry reports across soil health, regenerative agriculture, nutrient density, food systems and human health. Continuously maintained — new records reviewed and added every week — from Crossref, OpenAlex, PubMed, Europe PMC and trusted publishers, with abstract-grounded claim extraction and corroboration scoring.

Does Pulse Check store my report?

Anonymous one-off checks are processed in-memory and not persisted beyond the result page. Logged-in members keep a private history of their own reports under their account. We never share submitted documents externally.

What does a SUPPORTED verdict mean?

A SUPPORTED verdict means the claim aligns with current peer-reviewed evidence.

Corporate claims (mission, strategy, market position) are scored by a separate intensive-AI pass for clarity, grounding, and consistency. Each factual claim card also shows whether the author's own citation supports the claim, and where Pulse Brain has a stronger or more recent alternative.
